A new PhD program under the roof of PACE

As of 1st July, 2011, the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft DFG) has granted the CRC “On-The-Fly Computing” at the University of Paderborn. The main objective of the CRC is the further development and support of interaction of clients and providers in dynamically changing markets by the development of technologies and processes which allow to respond “on-the-fly” to individual needs and requirements of software users and to provide the customized services.

For young researchers this means a large variety of interdisciplinary basic research options and many interesting PhD subjects.

In close cooperation with the management of the new CRC PACE is organizing the administrative part of the PhD education for its new member institution. This includes e.g. the assistance regarding organizational tasks, especially for international students, as well as a wide range of complimentary activities (soft skill training, cultural trips, company visits, and German courses).

We are looking forward to welcoming highly motivated PhD candidates.
